The Profile:
Tiling Procedure :
Roof Pitch Versatile can be used on roof pitches from as below as 7.5° where single length are used (10° if end laps are used).
Tool :
Angle grinders should be used to cut sheets where the cut edge will be exposed, through tin-snips may be used for shorter cuts where cut edges will be hidden like lips and valleys.
Two methods of fixing depending on actual application can be used on versatile. It is recommended to use 3 fasteners for each width of the profile.
Crest Fixing:
70mm long galvanised wood screw or ring shank nails fixed through the crest of the profile ribs either by hammering through pre-drilled holes or using a fixing gun with screws.
Either fastener must be used in conjunction with their respective washers and sealed with coloured plastic caps to match roof colour.
Step Fixing:
Here, 6.5mm ring shank nails with half moon rubber washers are fixed at the step in the profile as shown in the figure above.
High quality PVC colour roof washers are recommended with roofing nails.
